We have 200 dual-video machines that need to have their consoles extended about 150 feet to 50 desks (4 machines extended consoles on each desk).

Video should be anything other than VGA, with DVI preferable.
USB should extend keyboard/mouse and CAC reader.

Distance is about 150 feet. We can do either CAT-6 or fiber.

We'd prefer to be able to consolidate hardware on the transmitting end (at the racks where the machines are located) into some high-density extenders.

    Can you recommend a solution?

    Brandyn,

Please take a close look at High-Density Dual-DVI USB KVM Extender - 16-Port Transmitter. You could deploy 13 of these to accommodate your 200 machines at the rack, then deploy a DVX2U-RX receiver on the desk for each console.

This solution supports all your requirements, including dual-DVI per machine and console, as well as CAC reader at the console.

    Hope this helps!
