KVM ATEN CS1742 and IOGEAR GCS1742

    Can you tell me what the difference is between the ATEN CS1742 KVM Switch and the IOGEAR GCS1742 KVM Switch?

    From what I can tell, the only difference is the price and the color.

    Are they made by the same manufacturer and sold under different brand names?

    Any feedback you can give me would be appreciated.

    Your observation is correct! The two are virtually identical in terms of the 'guts' of the product.

    IOGEAR is a division of ATEN, and some products (such as these two) are marketed under both brands.
