A/V DisplayPort to component/composite video conversion

I am needing to convert DisplayPort to both component or composite video for a new project we are working on. Can you guys, being the adapter experts, suggest the best device(s) to achieve this?

We currently use a powered converter from HDMI to composite/component but wanted to ask if there is any better way now (being a few months down the track..)!

Going from HDMI to composite/component one would indeed need a converter, being that HDMI is digital and composite/component are analog - therefore incompatible.

DisplayPort is different - it is compatible both with digital video, as well as with analog video, simultaneously.

That being said - we don't currently carry DisplayPort to composite/component adapters. To accomplish this you could take a 2-step approach:

    1) Adapt from DisplayPort to VGA (click on any of the cubes to view listing of appropriate adapters - select the one you need based on gender).

    2) a) Adapt from VGA to Component.

    2) b) Adapt (convert) from VGA to Composite.
