Dongle Dongles compatibility

    I'm inquiring about the compatible dongles for the KN2132VA 32-port KVM Switch.

    Would this KVM switch recognize Avocent AVRIQ USB and USB2 adapters?

    The compatible dongles for KN2132VA are listed here. You can find a link to this listing in two more places:
    - The product's SPECS tab
    - The product's MANUFACTURER INFO tab, under: Check out related products from ATEN

    Dongles are proprietary, and so since this KN2132VA is made by ATEN, it could only work with (compatible) dongles made by ATEN, and it will not recognize dongles made by Avocent.

    Yeah I figured as much but was just hoping for compatible firmware since they're physically identical.
    Bummer. Sadly that definitely raises the cost of upgrading.
