Multi-screen Another Triple Monitor Question (Sorry!)

I’ve searched high and low and even read four or so posts in this forum before asking here. Please bear with me!

I think my setup is simple but I cannot find a device anywhere that works!

I have 3 monitors, all identical HP Omen monitors at 2560x1440. All three have a choice of either DisplayPort 1.2 or HDMI.

I have two computers both with three outputs (let’s call them all HDMI...)

I’d like to just switch between the two with a switch of some sort. (To keep it simple let’s just use HDMI for all purposes...)

I DO NOT need keyboard / mouse / USB support of any kind. Video only.

    I attached an illustration.

    Can you help?!

    Thank you!

    Hello Pete,

Thank you for reaching out on our HelpCenter.

Your setup is indeed quite straightforward and simple. You will need to deploy a Multi-Screen KVM Switch with either triple-head or quad-head video support for each computer (only because models with triple-head are scarce).

A few things to consider though...
    1) Support for triple-head or quad-head video is typically available in 4-port switches (not in 2-port switches)
    2) Such switches supporting HDMI are extremely scarce! But you may use a DVI switch instead, since DVI video is 100% compatible with HDMI video, and all that is required is the use of HDMI-DVI cables.
    3) Finally, as you must have noticed, these switches are KVM switches. Being that you're not looking to share one set of keyboard/mouse between your computers, you may simply ignore the keyboard/mouse connections and establish only the video connections.

    Hope this helps!

Excellent thank you... I am ready to buy something as I’ve tried too many things with too much confusion.

Can you recommend a model or two? Maybe good / better / best options?

I clicked all the links in your response but the categories are still somewhat confusing...

    Thank you!

    Sure!

    1) If you want to go with straight HDMI (no adapters) - go with UHDN-4P-Quad (which is a 4-port; quad-video native HDMI switch).

    2) Your least expensive option is 2-Port Triple-Monitor DVI KVM Switch w/ USB 2.0 Hub (which is a 2-port; triple-video native DVI), for which you will need to use HDMI-DVI cables.

    Hope this helps!
