I am looking for a KVM switch to use a Display port monitor, keyboard, mouse with 2 laptops.

One of the laptops uses USB-C and the other does not have that but does have HDMI and USB ports.

Any suggestions? The USB-C is new to me.

    Thanks, Tim

    Hello Tim,

Thank you for reaching out on our HelpCenter.

Connect a USB-C to DisplayPort adapter to your laptop's USB-C port so that you now have DisplayPort video output you will use to connect to the KVM switch.

    Here you have two options:
    a) Connect a USB Type-A to DisplayPort adapter to your laptop's USB-A port so that you now have DisplayPort video output you will use to connect to the KVM switch - ONLY if your laptop supports USB 3.0 or higher.
    b) Connect a HDMI to DisplayPort Converter to your laptop's HDMI port so that you now have DisplayPort video output you will use to connect to the KVM switch.

Finally, use anyone of these 13 models of 2-port DisplayPort KVM switches and you're good to go.

    Hope this helps!
