Switch Regarding model SV231MDPU2

    Hello,

    Regarding model: SV231MDPU2 (2-Port Mini DisplayPort KVMP): Will this work on an Apple Thunderbolt Display?

    I'd like to switch between a Mac and a PC. The PC has Mini DisplayPort out and works when plugged in directly to the Thunderbolt display.

    Thank you for reaching out.

    Thunderbolt 2 is compatible with (and has a compatible connector to) Mini DisplayPort (v1.2).

    Assuming both your Mac computer and your display are Thunderbolt 2, and since you are able to connect your [Mini DisplayPort] PC to your [Thunderbolt] display, then SV231MDPU2 2-Port Mini DisplayPort KVMP Switch will work, being that it supports Mini DisplayPort 1.2.
