Accessing/switching 10 computers from 30 feet away

I have 10 computers (VGA-USB) located in one cubical that need to be accessed from one console (monitor, keyboard, mouse) about 30 feet away. The user at the console should be able to switch from one computer to another, controlling all ten computers.

I've noticed you offer Matrix KVMs such as Gefen DVI KVM over IP w/ Local DVI Output, and I was wondering whether I need a matrix switch for my setup, or not.

    Please advise.

Since your setup is one (user) to many (computers), there is no need for a matrix solution.

Conceptually, you can accomplish this in a number of ways.

    1) Setup a KVM switch in the cubical (in proximity to the ten computers), then extend the console (that normally would have connected to the KVM switch) out to your console area (30 feet away) using a CAT-5 KVM extender.
1a) You can choose a relatively inexpensive KVM switch (that uses coax cabling to connect the computers) such as CS1316 or expreZo EZswitch, for example, or
1b) Choose a CAT-5 KVM switch (that uses CAT-5 cabling + dongles to connect the computers) such as KH2516, or AdderView CATx 1000 or the newcomer VNET-16P.
With either choice, you will also need to deploy a KVM extender. If you also want to have a user-console in the cubical, make sure to choose a KVM extender that supports dual access.

    2) Alternatively, you can setup a KVM over IP switch in the cubical (in proximity to the ten computers). Now you will be able to access the KVM switch (to control all ten computers) from any computer over your LAN/WAN or Internet (learn more about KVM over IP).
