Reverse KVM Controlling one computer from 3 rooms

We have one computer in an office that needs to be controlled from 3 separate rooms (a 4th room may be needed in the near future), as far as 150 feet away from the computer. Each room will have a monitor/keyboard/mouse in it.

The computer is VGA and USB.

We also have a similar setup with 2 rooms only.

Any recommendations as to how to accomplish this?

[IMG]There are two ways you could accomplish this:

    1) KVM splitter and KVM extension. Use VOPEX USB/VGA KVM Splitter, 4-Ports to split the KVM to 3 or 4 consoles, then extend the console connections with KVM Extender USB to the 3 (or 4) rooms (one extender needed for each room) with a CAT-5 run to each room.
A similar solution for the 2-room setup can be accomplished by deploying the VOPEX USB/DVI/HDMI KVM Splitter, 2-Ports (instead of the 4-port model).
Note: This particular KVM Extender USB model also allows you to connect another computer in the room and have the user in the room toggle and switch between controlling the local computer and the central computer.

    2) Multi-user KVM over Gigabit network. Setup a dedicated Gigabit network and connect one VGA KVM over IP, Sender to the computer and three VGA KVM over IP, Receivers, one in each room. Once all devices are connected to the network you can control the central computer from each one of the rooms.

With both solutions, only one user at a time will have control over the central computer, while its video will be displayed on all screens at the same time.

[IMG]We can now offer you a better solution (replacing previous option #1): VOPEX USB KVM Splitters/Extenders, which integrates the KVM splitting and the extension into one product.
