    Hi.
    Mac Mini 2014
    Thunderbolt 2 Mini-DisplayPort
    HDMI

    Macbook Pro retina 2012
    Thundrbolt 1 Mini-DisplayPort
    HDMI

    2 Dell U2412M 24 Inch LED monitors
    1920x1200
    Apple Cinema Display 2014 2560x1440
    Thunderbolt Mini-DisplayPort

I'd like to be able to switch all 3 monitors with either the Macbook Pro or the Mac Mini at full resolution of each monitor for 3 screen extended desktop.

    Any solutions?

    Thanks,

    Randy

    Hello Randy,

Thank you for reaching out on our HelpCenter.

The resolution that gets displayed on the screens is driven by the computer, not by the monitors. The monitors will display the video at a resolution coming from each computer to a max resolution which is supported by each monitor.
If the resolution from both your Macs is higher than 1920x1200, then your Dell monitors won't be able to display the video.

Both your Macs appear to have only 2 video outputs. Each computer must have 3 video outputs in order to display video on 3 screens. You may be able to add a 3rd video output via a USB video adapter.

What type of video connector do these monitors have?
Please advise. We will then be able to put together a solution for you.
