I'm looking to extend a console 50 feet away from one computer.

The computer has USB for keyboard/mouse; DVI dual-link and mini DisplayPort video outputs.

The console has Apple Cinema Display with a hard-wired video cable coming out of it with a mini DisplayPort (male) plug.

    Resolution must be dual-link.

Can you recommend a reliable extension solution for this?

AdderLink XD522 natively supports DisplayPort KVM extension, although you will still need to adapt to mini DisplayPort.

Otherwise, you could use a dual-link DVI KVM extender (such as AdderLink X-DVI PRO DL or GCE616U or CE602) with an adapter (since DVI dual-link video is compatible with DisplayPort video).

Unfortunately, though, we do not carry DisplayPort female to DVI male adapters.
