Multi-screen KVM quad monitor DisplayPort setup

    Hello,

Attached should be a diagram of what I'm hoping to achieve. This is a radiology application requiring 2 PCs, 4 diagnostic monitors (DisplayPort connections at the PCs and at the monitors), and an additional monitor for each PC not passing through the KVM. Would like to have the mouse and keyboard through the KVM but understand the microphones will likely need to be direct to each PC.

    Is this achievable?

    Thank you for any help.

    Hello JReb,

Thank you for reaching out on our HelpCenter.

Your diagram makes sense if each of your two computers has 5 video connections.
4 of the 5 video connections will connect to a quad-video-head DisplayPort KVM switch, allowing 4 screens, 1 keyboard/mouse to be shared between the two computers (with the user being able to switch from one computer the the other), while the 5th video connection from each computer will connect to it own a non-shared monitor.

The KVM switch can share speakers between the two computers, but you are correct regarding the microphone.

    Hope this helps!
