IP Looking for product recommendations

    Hello,
    I currently have three different use cases and I am looking for product solutions. I need help picking the best product for each of my use cases.

    Use Case 1:
    - I have a windows laptop with HDMI, I need a single HDMI port KVM that I can plug into it and access my windows laptop remotely (while not on the same network). I should be able to access my windows laptop securely either via a web browser or an iPad App (control via an iPad app would be great).

    Use Case 2:
    - This is the exact same as the above use case 1 except the machine is a Mac OS laptop.

    Use Case 3:
    - I have 5 laptops, 2 windows, 1 Linux and 2 mac. I need a Multiview KVM where I can see all 4 computers on a single computer and control all 4 of them using that 1 computer. I can then remote into that single machine and control all four computers in a single 4 way Multiview split.
    - note it is important that the Multiview KVM work with Mac OS as well as windows and Linux. especially Mac OS !

    Please help me find the best product for my use cases. I am new to the KVM world and I don't have the funds to pick the wrong product and re purchase a new one.

    Thank you for reaching out on our HelpCenter.

    Use a KVM over IP Gateway that supports HDMI video, such as Dominion KX IV-101.

    KVM over IP Gateways don't care about the operating system. What's important is that the KVM over IP Gateway supports the video interface that your Mac OS laptop has.
    Use KVMGFilter to narrow down your search based on the desired video interface.

    A MultiView KVM switch will allow you to view video from 4 connected computers on one console-screen*, and control each of the connected computers through one keyboard/mouse*.
    * Controlling computers (and viewing their video) connected to a MultiView KVM switch is accomplished through a console connected to the MultiView KVM switch, NOT through another computer.
    For remote control, you may connect a KVM over IP Gateway to the MultiView KVM switch.

    Alternatively, you could use a 4-user KVM over IP switch, which will allow a remote computer (as oppose to a console) to control the 4 computers that are connected to the KVM over IP switch, and will allow this remote computer to set up the video from the 4 connected computers on a single screen.
