Looking for a device that supports 1 or 2 HDMI sources and has remote access/control via browser thru a hosted website (possibly our own) using tailscale or similar.

Plus if it will support a USB webcam that can also be viewed remotely.

    Hello Brian,

Thank you for reaching out on our HelpCenter.

We have some questions that need to be clarified before we can address the issues you brought up:

    a) What are the HDMI sources?

    b) what does "Dual monitor source" mean?

    c) What do you mean by "USB webcam that can also be viewed remotely"?

Please advise and elaborate on your setup, and on what you are looking to accomplish.

A&B - We want to connect up to 2 monitor feeds (HDMI sources) with pass-through so both remote and local users can see up to 2 displays (2K is fine).

As far as remote either 2 separate browsers for viewing 2 monitors or 1 browser and we can use ultrawide monitor to view both displays side by side in the one browser.

C - We would also like the capability to have a USB webcam plugged in that allows the remote user to see the local office remotely - another browser window.

Of course this also allows the remote user to have full keyboard/mouse control over remote PC as well.

    Brian,

So.... You are looking to remotely control one computer, that has 2x HDMI video feeds?

    Please confirm.

    Hello again, Brian:

KVM over IP Gateways supporting HDMI can accomplish this for you with no additional software required.
To support dual video, you will need to connect two such KVM over IP Gateway - one to each video port on your computer (with only one of them making a USB connection for keyboard/mouse support to your computer).

On the remote computer, you could launch two browser sessions (each accessing on of the KVM over IP Gateways) and position their respective windows side by side to view the dual-video source. Alternatively, you could use a User Station (listed at the bottom of each of the respected two models) that inherently supports dual-video.

No KVM over IP Gateway supports this. But you could mount the USB webcam to the local PC, then remotely view its video when you connect to that PC using your KVM over IP Gateway.

    Hope this helps!

Funny you came back with that - as over the weekend I realized that would be a solution - 2 units for 2 HDMI sources. This morning I was told we would not need 2 HDMI feeds. Go figure.

So I received a OneKVM over the weekend - it does 1 HDMI and 1 webcam - but you can only view one of the feeds at a time. Do you know of a device that you can see the remote display (HDMI) and 1 USB camera at the same time in 2 browsers?

Thanks for all the good info - there are so many devices out there hard to weed through them all.
