Switch Switch programatically between HDMI and DP

Discussion in 'KVM' started by Rakshith nandisha, Jan 7, 2019.

  1. I need to be able to switch between 2 channels , Channel 1 has DisplayPort and USB1 , Channel 2 has HDMI and USB 2. I need to be able to programatically switch between the channels via a command line or a program/software.

    Hello Rakshita,

Thank you for reaching out on our HelpCenter.

KVM switches typically maintain identical video interface across all their connections. Since one of your systems is DisplayPort and the other is HDMI - regardless of the KVM switch you select - you will need to use a DisplayPort-HDMI video adapter.

Please have a look at anyone of these KVM switches that will meet your requirement, as they all can be controlled via RS-232.
