A/V DP to DVI 4k60 EDID cable?

I don't find this in the cable section of this site. Maybe I just missed it? Need a DP to DVI cable that can handle 4k at 60Hz, which also passes the EDID. Must be *reliable* (medical rated). 6ft should be fine, but definitely not just 3ft. Does such a beast exist?

I fond DP-HDMI cables that match this, but have not found a DP-DVI one.

Changing the monitor is not an option. They're 2048x2048, special purpose, and > $40k each.

    Hello FePhoenix,

Thank you for reaching out on our HelpCenter.

No, you probably did not miss anything. DVI interface was originally designed to support a maximum resolution of 2560x1600 @ 60Hz, and so manufacturers simply don't make DisplayPort to DVI adapters (or adapter-cables) supporting 4K.

You may want to try using a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter supporting 4K (ADC-DPM/HF/UHD or VC986B). Being that (generally speaking) HDMI video can pass through a DVI connector, you could then attach to this adapter an HDMI to DVI adapter-cable.

    Hope this helps!
