    Hi,
I have a setup of a laptop and desktop.
I want a KVM with EDID toggle switch and PC1 with DisplayPort PC2 with HDMI.
    Please advise.
    Thanks

    Hello Robert,

Thank you for reaching out on our HelpCenter.

To avoid using adapters and ensure that your DisplayPort video doesn't get messed up during switching, you should go with a switch that natively supports both DisplayPort and HDMI, such as SV240DPH.

Alternatively, you could go with an HDMI KVM switch, and use a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter to make the connection to PC1.

    Hope this helps!
