Hi, I'm looking for a network KVM that supports switching between 2 dual-head workstations. It must have LDAP authentication.

    Hello Joseph,

Thank you for reaching out on our HelpCenter.

To accomplish this you will need a KVM over IP switch that supports two remote paths such as ATEN KN2116VB or Raritan Dominion KX III 216.

    Both support LDAP authentication.

The remote user can use a dual-video head computer and establish two IP sessions connecting to the KVM switch, positioning the video of one session on one monitor, and the video of the 2nd session on the 2nd monitor.

To streamline remote access, you may want to consider deploying a user station for the remote user (instead of a computer), one that can natively support dual-video, such as ATEN KA8288 or Raritan Dominion KX III User Station.

    Hope this helps!

In addition to the KVM switch you will also need 4x dongles to connect the computers to the KVM switch. For each computer, one dongle will support video and USB connection, while the 2nd dongle will support video-only connection (of the 2nd video head).

Please note that the dongles are proprietary. You can find references and links to the compatible dongles on each of the above-mentioned product pages.

    Hope this helps!
