    Currently in the process of having to retrofit an analog VGA KVM path to a new digital path with no add-on, inline a/d converters. In an all out effort to save my current VGA KVM I have already tried some inline a/d converters to take the VGA to HDMI. None of them convert the signal properly without adding spacial resolution errors and/or color shifts that cannot be calibrated out.

    The requirements for the new digital KVM and cabling are as follows;

    · There must be 8 computer input ports on the KVM switch

    · The console output can be either HDMI or Display Port

    · The console mouse and keyboard can be USB

    · The working spacial video resolution at the console output must be 1920 x 1200 @ 60hz. This will be the same resolution that will be presented to the individual KVM computer inputs.

    · Among all the connecting computers to the KVM the common video connection is Display Port, so Display Port video inputs on the KVM are preferred.

    · The majority of keyboard/mouse connections on the connecting machines is PS/2. I will need a solid recommended solution to convert the computer side PS/2 key/mouse connections to something that the KVM can understand. I must have mouse scroll wheel support as well thru the KVM.

    · The KVM must be color and spacial resolution transparent to the system. I must be able to calibrate a closed loop calibratable monitor thru the KVM console signal path. In short, the signal that appears thru the KVM console on the monitor for any given connected machine must be exactly what would appear on the monitor as if the machine was connected directly.

    · There can be no visual distortion of the video image at the console (e.g. no color shifts or spacial distortion)

    · I must have KVM OSD and hotkey (using the print screen key) switching. Front panel buttons are welcome, but will rarely ever be used.

    · No need for audio support of any kind on this device. The only thing being switched is Keyboard/Mouse and Video.

    · No CATx cabling or "network type" interfacing.

    · NO requiring of special drivers, agents , or software running on connecting machines OS.

    Would like your recommendations as soon as conveniently possible.
    TIA
