IP Can I use different brand encoders

    We have a video wall with a single 4Kx2K HDMI KVM Over IP encoder that has gone bad. The brand is a Chinese company that does not seem to have American support or simple system for replacements. Can I use any brand encoder?

    It is hard to tell without us being familiar with the product you are currently using.
    Is it an H.264 system? Some of these system are universally compatible, but others are not, so you may need to try your luck.
