    Hey guys,

I need to connect a desktop with DisplayPort/HDMI/VGA capabilities, laptop with USB-C/HDMI capabilities, and a Surface Pro 7 which has USB-C/USB-A capabilities to a KVM switch so people can choose to use any of the devices from the listed ones. What are my best options for this?

    Hello Majdi Chowdhury,

Thank you for reaching out on our HelpCenter.

Since both your desktop and laptop have HDMI video connections, you will be best served by using an HDMI KVM switch.
Being that your Surface Pro doesn't have an HDMI video connection, you can 'create' one by connecting a USB video adapter to its USB-C connector.
Each one of your devices will also need to have an available USB Type-A connector to facilitate a USB connection to the switch.

    Hope this helps!
