    Howdy

I have a gaming desktop with two Dell 21" LCD's w/ HDMI, wireless mouse (via USB dongle), gaming keyboard (USB). USB 3A and USB A connectors.

I have an office laptop w/ 2x USB 3 C connectors. It needs to be hooked up to 2x 21"LCD. It too has a USB keyboard and wireless mouse (via USB dongle).

What reliable product do you have that would allow these two to share my desk? I normally only run one at a time.

    Thanks

    Hello XXXX,

Thank you for reaching out on our HelpCenter.

A 2-port, dual-video-head HDMI KVM switch such as CS1842 will do the job for you. You may also want to look at 4-port, dual-video-head HDMI KVM switches for a larger selection.

    But...

KVM switches, generally speaking, may not work well with your wireless mouse, so you may need to use a wired mouse. Learn more...

    a) You will need a USB-C to 2x HDMI video adapter to 'create' 2x HDMI connections from your laptop to the KVM switch.
    b) You will need a USB-C to USB-A adapter to facilitate the USB keyboard/mouse connection from your laptop to the KVM switch.

    Hope this helps!
