Switch What works best for 2 VGA computers and scan gun instead of a mouse?

    Between 2 computers, one still running a DOS based OS and the other Windows 10.
    No mouse using touchscreen and a mousepad integrated in the keyboard instead a scan gun.
    At times the scan gun does not work and I have to restart the DOS based PC several times?

    We are assuming you're looking to control these two computers with 1x VGA monitor, 1x keyboard and 1x scan-gun via a KVM switch.

    Before we can point you in the right direction, we need some additional information about your setup:
    1) What type of interface does your scan-gun have? (PS/2? Serial? USB? What USB version?)
    2) What type of (original) mouse interface does your DOS computer have?
    3) What type of (original) mouse interface does your other computer have?

    Please advise.
