Switch KVM solution needed

    Hi,

We are hoping to upgrade our existing computer setup with an advanced, unified KVM solution, since our current setup has low reliability and access to components is difficult.

As can be seen on the first page of the attached PDF file, our network consists of Intel NUC computers that are positioned locally, near workstations. Most of them already have either local cheap no-name or Blackbox KVM switches. We are looking for a centralized KVM solution which will allow us to relocate all our NUCs to a central location (server room) and connect them to the workstation KVM clients via some sort of KVM server using existing CAT5 cables, since new cabling is almost impossible. The cables that are now used for LAN could be repurposed as dedicated KVM cables to minimize local network bandwidth impact. Local KVM “boxes” would ideally have PoE supplies. The diagram on the second page (“PROPOSED COMPUTER SETUP”) within the attached pdf should give you an idea of what we aim to accomplish. Would something like this be possible using your KVM solutions?

Also, if you need more detailed information on our current setup or the goal we wish to accomplish, please contact me.

    Looking forward to your reply,
